It is an outdated Turkish proposal which has been rejected by all the countries of the World.

That is 100% correct. No other country recognises this Turkish proposal for a new division.

The World is moving towards cohesion . . . only Turkey goes against the grain of current thinking.

And that is why YOU are out on an international limb and we are making ground.....

So we have on the one hand the World including Cyprus, and on the other Turkey by itself, and you are saying WE are out on a limb?

I think Turkey very much wants to join the gang for fun . . . but like the lonely, isolated bully, it does not know how to be nice, to be liked.

Those so called legal decisions that were wrongly made or more rightly tricked into by the Akritas Plan..are now being put right by other means so you can bleat as much as you like but change will come

In the realm of diplomacy, one can be certain that in the EU there is a near universal perception that allowing Cyprus to join before a settlement was a mistake. In the larger scheme of things, from a strategic perspective the EU’s relations with Turkey are infinitely more important than its relations with Cyprus.
