I'm going to be in trouble here but the mistake I made was thinking I would meet many Cypriots who were like some people on this forum, full of anger and hate. I haven't actually met one so far after 5 months. Whether you call it complacency the general attitude is one far more relaxed about their situation. Cypriots I know are simply concerned with their own lives and family. Still, it prepared me well in case it does happen.
I don't think the forum is full of people with anger and hate . . . and nor is the World . . . so Cyprus is no exception (although the people tend towards amiability more).
People who use strong words are usually less aggressive than those that seek acknowledgement for their niceness . . . they tend to have something to hide.
Serial murderess and the like . . . go around as nice as pie.
Whoa there girl...."serial murderess", where are you taking this??? I didn't say "full of people with anger and hate I said "some". How can you possibly deny this?
As for the nice ones hiding something, well you are entitled to your own opinions but I don't agree.
