I meant exagerations Piratis.

Well, there is no exaggeration in the main points I make in the forum, and I guess you know which those points are otherwise you wouldn't call me gramophone

Now if I get in some quarrel I can sometimes exaggerate a bit on some minor points, and also say some things I don't really mean to piss you guys off the way you are trying to piss me off, but if we have a serious discussion I would never exaggerate.

When the gramaphone constantly plays the 100,000s of greeks massacred by the Turk, to me that is an exageration. Mind you one innocent death is bad but it just gives me the giggles. I have asked you for supportive evidence and not just antiturk writing. I am always interested in facts, like everybody else. Give me concrete proof and I will retract.

I don't think I ever said 100.000s of Greeks massacred by the Turks. The biggest massacre I wrote about was the 20,000 one when the Turks first invaded Cyprus, and I gave you the source about it which is the USA Library of Congress.

The 100s of thousands are the Greek Cypriots ethnically cleansed in 1974 and it is also not an exaggeration.

I might post some antiturk things when you guys post your antigreek things, but that is mostly limited in the use of adjectives like "barbarians" and the somewhat offensive way I write and not an exaggeration of main facts.

This is addressed both to Piratis and Zan...and anybody else interested in the Cyprob...

Instead of just repeating the same old arguments,let us take the time to investigate the sequence of events from the beginning. I am not sure if that has been done before(on this Forum),but I am willing to go back and dig up some of my own information,plus collect whatever impartial info I can find on the net,to put some clarity to the historical aspect of our tragedy...This will take time of course,so I propose we wait till after the newyear bizzo is over. I am away from my computer at the moment. When I get back soon after the newyear's day,I will start a new thread to talk about how I see the events of our recent past. We can then debate the issues in the light of the information I will provide. And people can correct me or argue against my points as they see fit. Hopefully by the end we will be able to argue in an informed way. And we might be able to see some common ground for optimism regarding a solution which will be peaceful, just and lasting...

They do, but simply the whole truth doesn't suit their aim of partition and that is why they would do everything in their power to stop the whole truth from being mentioned.

They do, but simply the whole truth doesn't suit their aim of partition and that is why they would do everything in their power to stop the whole truth from being mentioned.

Then how about you accepting the Akritas Plan for what it was and that the "RoC" of today is the one hijacked from the original Cyprus Republic....No??Didn't think so. You try to downplay the massive impact of these two linked issues because it then points to what you had planned all along and quantifies the period as it really was. Your word play on inter-communal fighting would be shot to pieces otherwise and we can't have that can we. It would show the world what you have done and how wrong they are to support you. You make an attempt in justifying these with figures from a gazillion years ago in which you blame the Ottomans. You deliberately ignore the TCs plight because that then would also highlight your aggression against us so lets talk about Turkey all the time. You are pathetic mate to even think that we will just sit there and take your lies and persecution and see you as a friend. You have been proved wrong time and time again but still you keep on about your crap propaganda. It does not work that way any more Piratis and your propaganda bosses should have noticed that. The world has wised up and they will know more by the time we are finished.

Our side doesn't need propaganda my friend. What we have on our side is the truth and the justice. The world condemns your illegal occupation and the illegal pseudo state you created on our land. It is you who has the need to spread propaganda in your effort to excuse your inexcusable occupation of our county and the crimes you commit against Cyprus.
