No Problem, There are so many crooks out there it sometimes rubs off on innocent people who just want to do a decent job. I had a system when I was there that if someone did good work for me I would pass the word on to friends, that way the person had a direct reccomendation which is always worthwhile.

Good luck with your business

Weathershield is made by DULUX so are these cowboys infringing copyright laws because I do not think DULUX co. would be happy that their name - and more importantly fake products are being sold!!! South Cyprus is in the EU now - so why not drop Dulux a line? It might help stop them using a misleading name that insinuates a BIG company with proven products?

look up weathershield as a general UK search (the cyprus website boasts they are a UK based co.) and you will see they are NOT linked even as agents of Dulux weathershield - I think they could be told to stop trading regarding this - or at least to change the misleading name.

Interesting subject. Do you know if Weathershield are associated with Weatherguard. Another company offering same services in Cyprus. As to the use of the name Weathershield, there is no breach of the law as I see it because the name Weathershield(Dulux version) is a brand name and not a company name. Furthermore the Cyprus company have added the word cyprus to their trading name. Like any other brand name, unless you are using it in the same manner (as a brand name) nothing stops it being used for other purposes. For example, if a car manufacturer decides to name a new model e.g. Ford 'Focus', it does not stop anyone calling themselves 'Focus car bodies'

Trashy job by Weathershield

Just thought I would add my comments to this topic.
I've never been so misled, ripped off and generally p*ssed off at a company such as Weathershield Cyprus.
I paid 8000Cyp only 2 years ago and already there are major problems with the work.
Do yourself a favour and stay away as you will only end up wasting your hard earned cash.
