Even if I could spell embarused I'd still be ashamed of this stupidity and gross infrijmunt of humane rites.

Well it's no more stupid than a "civilised" country attacking another country to supposedly find "WMD" but ending up occupying it for 3 years, stealing their oil, causing a civil war which leads to 100.000 civilian deaths, giving Kurds a country and leaving with no WMD in sight!

Now THATS stupid!!!!

And yesterday Tony Blair admits that his decisions were made with his religion in mind????? Bloody religion should be beaten out of all leaders before we are allowed to elect them.

The whole point of this charge against the teacher is that the religion states that no likeness of Mohammed is allowed in any shape or form. Bloody stupid but there you are...Ignorance is no excuse against the law.

Here are the facts: The clash we are witnessing around the world is not a clash of civilizations. It is a clash between civilization and backwardness, between the civilized and the primitive, between barbarity and rationality. It is a clash between freedom and oppression, between democracy and dictatorship. It is a clash between human rights, on the one hand, and the violation of these rights, on other hand. It is a clash between those who treat women like beasts, and those who treat them like human beings. What we see today is not a clash of civilizations. Civilizations do not clash, but compete.

I think the belief in what you say is the clash and it is happening here.

Its an absolute disgrace that this incident has been blown out of all proportion. Mohammed is one of the most popular names and its no surprise that the class chose that as their favourite name. why couldn't they just have had a word with the teacher and explained that it was not appropriate? Maybe, they are using this somewhat trivial incident to deflect the world's eyes and ears away from the terrible attrocities being committed in the rebel regions..........
