peace at war

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Do you know what? I think its OK that its made by amatures and NOt a big film company. It shows that there are people out there who want a re-united Island. I give them 10 out of 10 for at least TRYING to put an opinion across.

I do agree with you, but i also do find it a bit utopian and far fetched, all the people uniting as one etc.

Halil,

You brought this film to us, and yet you have nothing to say about it...why is that.?? Is it because you too saw it as a propaganda hit piece as in, the TC's were taking the "high road" for peace or what.?? Aside from the shot Turkish Soldier not getting help from a young TC was so over the scale of being unrealistic and would never happen in a million years, you had a middle aged man around our age played by the father (role played by VP) who did not want unification, but yet his son and his girlfriend who were born in the "TRNC" and have been kept in isolation all their lives, wanted to unite with the GC's. Don't you not see something terribly wrong with this picture to have any credibility to be sincere at all.??

Well T_C, that's because I used my brain to "disect" the propaganda from total Fantasy, where you got all excited beyond belief, that the part of the film was shot on the same street that you live on.

We are all happy for you, that your street will be etched in our minds for the rest of our lives, and we will always think of you when ever we see that same street in the future.

You really are a nasty piece of work Kikapu    The film was pure symbolism and the message was clear although simplistic. The one thing that was missed by all was the fact that the girl had a TURKISH accent.

I'm sorry, but Halil never posts anything, that's just "symbolic".!!

Thanks for bringing to our attention, that the young Turkish girl had a Turkish accent. Does this not further make my point that this film can not have any credibility at all, if the film was telling us, that even the settlers want to unite, so that they can vacate the GC homes and even perhaps get sent back to Turkey.!!!!

Yes I was, thats because I miss my street and seeing all my friends houses was quite exciting...

The boy disobeyed his father and SHOT a Turkish soldier and the best you can come out with is about the girls accent.

What a wanker....

You still don't get it do you   It is the same hope you have that is exhibited in this film and not reality.

The flag at the end is the symbol that neither is right and that includes your precious "RoC" that was built on our oppression and blood. The Cyprus on that film does not exist and you as a supposed unificationist should have welcomed it with open arms but all you are interested in is selling us an "RoC" that we have no interests in.
