Listen dummy, there is no such thing as a "community rights" in any country that gives you equal footing in power sharing, not unless you want to classify yourself as a Minority, much like the Gay community, Black Community, Hispanic Community, Turkish Community and so on to be able to claim extra protection from the Government for your community. The extra protection still does not give you any special treatment in running the government. As a minority, certain percentage of jobs will go to that group whether that person is suited for that job or not. In another words, you will never be respected in a work place by your colleagues, because they will know that your job was "gifted" to you and that you did not earned it. As a equal citizen, with your individual rights in place and equal to each citizen, you can at least be proud to have gotten the job on merits, and not because you are a TC.

Be careful what you ask for, because you might just get it, and then you will be kicking yourself in disgust.

Oh is that why the mighty Great Britain sees fit to have "Positive Discrimination" then brain box Who the hell do you think you are talking to hear? A bunch of school children. Laws are made where the system fails them and the way you sell the "RoC" and the democratic rights of EU citizens in that you think they are infallible is just a joke. Th fact that discrimination WILL be used against the TCs should ring alarm bells in your head but the party line does not allow you to think like that. If you see a problem then you make sure that they do not happen. You might be happy to see a long line of TCs waiting to have their cases heard in court while their families starve or they are left behind financially but we are not. You seem to be happy to let whole generations of young TCs suffer after they spend all their time studying in TC universities that the GCs have had taken out of the register anyway so why not. Our children and young adults are being discriminated against right now and you wish for it to carry on and worse. Whole generations are being left behind when the EU took the whole of Cyprus in and is discriminating against hundreds of thousands of them. Where is the justice in that

Who ever said that Britain was not a Racist Country for a very long time until fairly recently. I remember what a Big News it was, when the first Black footballer played for England in the late 70's, or when the First Black became a Police officer around the same time. I'm sure you remember that Racist TV show "Till Death Us Do Part" with Alf Garnett in the 60's-70's. Don't you think the UK has moved away from those days of Racist Practises.? You are still thinking.....

The TC's will occupy most of the jobs in the North and the GC's in the South. All Federal jobs will be determined based on who is qualified for the jobs, except the minority groups will get extra help to get jobs in the government, so that all the citizens will be represented in all government jobs. TC's do not want to be considered as Minorities, therefore, we will have to apply to these positions in the government like any one else. With the protection of the New Federal Laws superseding State Laws, employment will be open to anyone, whether in the North State or the South State.

You squirm and squirm but you get nowhere. We all know the party line and then the realists of this world see what is going on in daily life. They then have to make special laws to cover their short comings ands that is what positive discrimination is about. As for the rest...You keep coming up with all these cure all policies and not a single one is excepted by the GC administration. They sabotage every attempt at working things out and the Annan Plan was the last straw. Try running your ideas past Tpap and when you get him to say yes then come back to us and we can have our say. Nikitas, you are actiang like we are on the same level (north and south) and you know its far from it, i have no reason to go to the south other then to buy nice alcohol and eat some over priced meals while getting treated like a refugee at the gate, i can do without any of them, my business, my family, my lands and properties are all on this side, so sincerely tell me, why should i join you?

Although everybody would love to be among identical people in all respects (ethnicity-language-ethics etc) what you want and the way you want it violates my rights in my own country.
There is absolutely no way out for people like you (and this includes GCs as well) than either tolerate the other community or stick inside your own village/neighborhood or go live in another country.

Kikupurass, you are full of shit. Appart from being a tourist in the south you've had any other dealings with the GCs. Have you traded with them? Have you offered them your services?

Listen they wouldn't give you their cold. They wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.

Let me tell you a few of my personal experiencecs.

1. I used to sell mobile phones, I had a very good deal going with the Ericsson 388s, they were selling for £375, I offered them at £325. I had a telephone call from a GC chap in Cyprus, the deal was almost done when he asked what nationality I was, like a fool I told him TC, he went "Turkish, TURKISH" the line went dead. That was after 4-6 telephone conversations.

2. A Greek guy from Greece is looking for the product I sell on the net. He calls me and places an order and gives me his credit card details, this was during the Athens Olympics. I wish him good luck with the Greek team and he wishes me good luck with the GB team. Like an idiot I| tell him my loyalty is with Turkey and really don't care how many gold GB wins. He immediately cancelled the order.

3. A Greek guy wants my product for his hotel, I advise him that there is a very good company producing this product in Istanbul to a very high standard at half the cost. He corrects me and tells me its Constantinople and until it is back in Greek hands he will not buy anything from there. I thought I'd have a bit of fun with him and tell him I have many Turkish friends and that this subject has come up before and my Turkish friends tell me the Greeks haven't got big enough balls to conquer Istanbul and rename it Constantinople. Anyway after awhile he annoyed me and I told him I had no product to supply him and that while we wasted time on the phone I had sold out.
