How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I get a boo-boo all the time. Sorry it's unwatchable from my end, why don't they allow a normal download??

Great short film Halil. Still as confusing as the real world though in it's simple message.

The "Cypriot" that Kikapu thinks I am going to object to is a great one but not the one that he is still trying to sell us. He still doesn't seem to understand the difference.

The film is just a modern day bible story where we walk into the garden of Eden. Sorry but it is just a disney ride in which all the harnesses are provided without design. We have to work this thing out and hoping for a Birkibrisli type of miracle is not enough. Hard work and intent has to be put into it and the games that Tpap plays are not the way to go. We are fed up as Turks and Turkish Cypriots of waiting for them to do the right thing.

In the financial Times yesterday, it was written that the GC refugees now know that return is impossible and what they are looking at now is giving these people government bonds in exchange for the land. The partition of the island is set for good. How we view each other is what we should be looking at now. It is only as good neighbors that we can ever think that future generations will ever unite. We can go on hating and get further apart and have the war in the film but all that will happen to those good people in the street will be that they will get their asses shot off.

I have been a dreamer all my life and politics has woken me up. We have to face realities and fairy tales are better left for the children. We have to curtail what we want with what is achievable.

Funny that . . . we live in the same country, but the message I receive loud and clear, is that Turkey is illegally occupying (an unrecognised) part of Cyprus and they are in the process of being forced out.

. . . surely you're still day dreaming Zan

Where did you get that from???The official line is that there will be two states and government bonds are being prepared...My information comes from the FT...Where does yours come from???

The fact that Turkey will HAVE to leave is what is confusing you maybe. I have said all along that the stories that were invented to scare the children of Turkey annexing the TRNC is just not true. They cannot do that unless there is a complete collapse of Turkeys status in the world community. Then she will do it just to piss you people off. In the real world however, she cannot and will not but just like Greece has with the "RoC", we will have close relations in trade and defense. Yes your nightmare will happen...

1. How will the TCs manage to make Turkey leave then?
2. Turkey is well on the way to political and economic ruin.
3. Well that's the sort of maturity that is costing them dear.

Maybe you've been reading between the FT lines TOO much! . . . try interpreting what is ACTUALLY written.

Oh Dear!  If you think that I take one article and use that as the only guide to my interpretation then that explains your confusion in what is being said here.
