Yeah yeah, then why don't you come to the legal south and see her since you were hoping to see her.

Why are you encouraging GG to go to the illegal occupied area of cyprus? Just because you have no morals doesn't mean everyone hasn't .

I respect GG even for hesitating.

Enjoy your trip GG have a safe one and you can visit the other side when we have a fair and just solution.

what is porrage, anyway?

Oats made into a breakfast meal by boiling ~ very filling

Scot's porridge oats

Bill

kinda like oatmeal then? i eat oatmeal every day for breakfast. do you put anything on in? butter or sugar? salt and pepper? fruit?

can do ~ but not all at once

My preference is a little bit of salt, but I also know that a spoonful of jam stirred in immediately before eating is really delicious.

GG - you can find out more about porridge from the link below. Please take particular note of the 'Traditions' section - very, very important!

To be honest, porridge is a little dull (sacrilege?), so why not go the extra mile and treat yourself to a bowl of Atholl brose.........it is fantastic, you get your oats  , whisky and honey all in a single dish. :D

That will banish any jetlag blues!

I fear this information is a trivial distraction from your thread, as I've hijacked to highlight some Scottish wonders(?) - sorry! Hope you have a great trip to Cyprus.

That's because you know not. So what do you actually suppose? that the Ottomans found a red light special and bought parts of Cyprus?

I have, and you're right, that's a good option too. Don't often reach for cinnamon first thing in the morning tho'.......perhaps I should, possibly a touch too exotic for my presbyterian tastes.
