silly man! it is i that wished i had done mroe for you! your lift to JuneMichaels was greatly appreciated! as was your company!

We want the whole'''diary''' GG. Did you ever get to use the 'hip scarves' at the party?  Glad you enjoyed our island.

nope, didn't belly dance at all on the island, but i did come home with a bunch of CDs i can't wait to get to know.
no diary from me, although i may share a link of my photos, although you all are cypriots, so it's nothing you haven't seen before.

i will tell you some of the things i found interesting.
the whole duel flush toilets--way cool! i hope the USA will adopt them. didn't like that i couldn't flush the TP.
my hotel elevator had a floor zero! that may be normal to you, but it doesn't exist here. (we would call it a first floor, lobby, or perhaps ground floor.)
i LOVED the music.
thought that having to put your key fob in the slot in the hotel room -- to make the electricity go on -- was odd.
i like the kissing on both cheeks. for some people, i just wanted to keep kissing....
the people were pretty nice. turns out that Cyprus is a small place after all. i discovered that there was a link between two forum members, that even they didn't know about.
the pet shelter situation is pretty sad. i will be posting video i took of JuneMichael's shelter in Limassol, and also lots of photos of it. give me a few days.
got to see the flamingos, which was a real thrill for me.
here is one photo, probably one of my favorites: (sorry, i don't know how to resize my photos. )

i have a question. i noticed when i was about at night, it was fairly common to see a parked car on the side of the road, with the headlights left on. however, it would be the headights only on the driver's side, both front and back.
am wondering if this is a feature in cars in CY, or whether it was just an odd coincidence that people left their lights on, and the passenger's sides, both front and back, burned out.

explanation?

Hi GG
I am glad you had a good time!!! The Cyps leave the headlights on so even when they aren't driving, they can still blind everyone on the roads

There are only 2 settings . Full beam and a special Cyp one - nuclear dazzle!!!!!

It's grilled snake GG.

No seriously, it means everything, the lot. Sometimes a full English breakfast is also referred to as a "Full House"
It should have black pudding as well or probably instead of hash browns

PS why are your posts so wide?

my posts are wide because of the size of the photos. i don't know how to resize them. nothing works......
and i'm too cheap to spend the $300+ (USD) to get the program to do it.
