I actually did update my knowledge of their more recent situation after watching that recent awful suicide bombing video. Did you see that?

How are they playing these days and what is their league position....

They're pretty fucked these days as they have lost their support from India and the Sri Lankan navy has walloped them quite a bit to the point where they've lost considerable territory. There's also been some serious splits in their structure which will no doubt have caused some of the damage.
