I was answering the question whether TC's would be annoyed over the nativity scenes!!
I do not agree with ANY holy place being desecrated and items stolen for profit. The church in Edremit has just been in the news here in the North, where local villagers are up in arms about the use of the church as a cultural centre, making pottery etc. There are signs in the local shop stating " this is a church not a shop" and the shopkeeper quoted as saying " It is a disgrace that a government department is sanctioning the use of a holy building as a warehouse".
So please do not tar everyone with same brush!!
