How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The UN resolution says "...to refrain from any action which might prejudice that sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity... "

I don't understand how this trade (whether materials or tourists) when it comes/goes from the territory without being "touched" by the recognised government will not prejudice said sovereignty, in this case the RoC.

If tourists come direct to the occupied areas then they will not see any sign of the RoC. The tourist having his passport "stamped" will effectively recognise the state (assume "TRNC") and with this action the territorial integrity of the RoC has been lost.

I might be wrong but I remember some recent rule by EU that says EU citizens can enter Cyprus from the north and cross to the south and the RoC cannot imprison those EU citizens for "entering Cyprus through illegal ports". Does anyone remember this?

i dont think that its a point of imprisoning anyone but they can deny them entry through the green line if they dont have a ROC stamp on there passport.

So, my question to BigDutch is this: Why does it bother you to see north Cyprus ads when your government structures clearly states that it's ok to enter Cyprus from the north?

Nobody said it is ok. They just said that they can not be prosecuted.
What it means is that nobody can be prosecuted based on the way they arrived.

My TRNC passport has got multiple of USA stamps on it

Apart from US, UK Azerbaijan, Pakistan (and some other "stans") and maybe Israel, can you get your passport stamped in other countries? Say in Russia, China, India, France etc?

The US, UK and the like, obviously stamp your passport since they are the ones that along with Turkey want to brake up our country.,

I also have my TRNC passport stamped many times in the US. Not because they want to recognize TRNC but only because the officer at the airport has no idea where Cyprus is and he/she doesn't give a crap that technically the RoC is the only legal government of the island.
