i agree with you , but unfortunately gc`s and their governments dont have the heart for it! they have become too interested in money and greedy and stupid and corrupt to sort it out i`m afraid! and that leaves the few of us sensible ones left with nowhere to go and frustrated cos the minute you say anything its cos your a communist, or a mad man!

What we need is concerted action to get the talks started again , not troops marching up and down the green line. Our politicians are a bunch of amateurs having been taught their diplomatic skills by the Greek amateurs !!
They portray Cyprus on the world stage according to all International proclamations that Cyprus is an independent nation , yet they have a foreign national anthem that enrages the T/Cs just as flying the Turkish flag enrages the G/Cs.

This would be tantamount to suicide for Cyprus. Ruffling Bush's feathers in such an extraordinary outright act of aggression would turn us into another US victim like Iran at the moment and Iraq of the past / present with their alleged active nuclear weapons programs. Do you think the US would allow nuclear capability ascension anywhere else in the World?

Morally, why degenerate to conducting our affairs in such a primitive manner? Radiation cannot be recalled back once detonated and the environmental consequences have to be endured for decades.

Cyprus is not an aggressive country . . . so why play aggressive games because of our despair. Turkey would love us to reach her level of depravity against humanity.

With nuclear weapons, win or lose the battle against the Turks we would lose our self-respect for ever.

Iam not saying have an all out war which obviously would never happen ,just that you need world press coverage to highlight this illegal occupation of your country, also what i have been reading about this situation what i can gather is many people in the north are not actually turkish cypriots but turkish is this correct? In 2014 when turkey allegedly will join the EU and the free flow of their people will be possible ,do you not think they will just flood to the south

The French do not have the guts to do it, and they couldn't get round their complicated TAX system to to fund it!

Also the GC troops do not have the heart in it to parade the green line - nor would the corrupt politicians want to lose all their handouts!!!

Should the Turks invade again - I would be the first to pick up arms against them... And I am an Englishmen living and working here in the FREE Cyprus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we can all see where bullshit talks and not being aggressive has got us cant we! had we given the russians the base they asked for in the beginning all this could have been avoided!

Do you mean to say that we -the entire Cypriot population, most of which have our weapons, ammunition and army outfits at home next to our beds, will not pick them up to fight, and we will be waiting for you to find somewhere a shot gun in order to save us from the Turks? Like Britain "did" in 1974? Is this what you are telling us now?
