We are talking true Tcs here. But what if a GC falls in love with a T or TC? Short of being racist how do you deal with the situation? It has happened in the past, it is happening now and will do so in the future at an increasing rate. That is one way for unification.

why would i have a problem with that? i have friends in mixed relationships/marriages at the moment no problem whatsoever, some of the nicest families i know are mixed but as for that leading to unification i doubt it deniz as there are too many of the odd lot about from turkey!

What is the actual total population in Cyprus? (whole island)

My guess is around 1.3 million since we have:

800 000 GC in free area
100 000 foreign permanent residents, workers (legal/illegal)
50 000 greeks (Pontians, etc.)
350 000 TC & turkish settlers & turkish army in occupied area

What do you think?

I think this number is incorrect more like 100 000.000.000.000 foreign permanent residents, workers (illegaly on the islandl)

'Your' being in plural. I was referring to the decline in the rate of growth of the GC population as reported in the press.
I am sure a lot of Cypriots have mixed genes. Only fools will not admit to this.
