I have it. Its not exactly Tom Tom, but I got it for free so I am not complaining ;)
Is it useful? - it is for street names etc, but its difficult to get lost on Cyprus...

I know it is overpriced but how do you know it is crap? Did you try it out? What exactly is wrong with it?

The interface is clumsy & the maps are not good. It is also not helped by the street & place names in Cyprus having various different English spellings. It may be better using it in Greek, I don't know.

I have it running on my Mio a701, but they sell this for £379 preloaded on a Mio 168 which is a very out dated PDA. You could get one on Ebay for £100 easily. So I guess they think their software is worth over £250! Maybe the software is available on it's own now, I havn't checked.

I downloaded it for free and quite frankly I'm glad I didn't pay for it!

Can you tell me where to download for free as I would like to try it out also. Is it a bit torrent?

It is availible for sale to work with a PDA with PPC 2003 for RRP 150CYP...

Strange as I have used various SAT Nav packs and the interface look like all the others?

I can't remember where I got it from, newsgroups probably. It's not the sort of thing that comes available for download often, so good luck!

As murf62 says, some of the street name spellings are...well, different to both the Greek ones and the English ones that are on the signs.

Can you install it on a computer or it only runs on PDAs?

The version I have is PPC only, but someone on another forum somewhere had managed to get the map running on a laptop, but using different software. I can't remember what it was called though? Maybe Maptech?

Maptech is only any good if you want a really very poor solution, this is not navigation this is just a picture of a moving map. What I really want is the equivilent of TOM TOM or Smartmaps... Is this the one you have.

Can it not be posted somewhere... ?

How accurate are street numbers on this thing? If you give it an exact address how near that address does it get you?

If you zoom in on the map, it shows street numbers. I haven't tested this a great deal, but it knows where my place is and gets me right outside. Obviously I know when I am there - I was just testing it ;)
