I lived the early 60's. I was taken as a prisoner along with my family by the GC's at gun point. We did sleep on the floor at the location we were kept as prisoners. We ate what the women cooked on open fires in the court yard of the school we were kept in. Our rights and liberty were taken from us during those times. Spend more hard times after we were released while you were sucking on your mothers milk in the UK, so don't you dare give me fucking history lessons of the 60's in Cyprus. Most of us have moved on from those days and some were killed and never had the chance, but today we all have a chance to make a better tomorrow in Cyprus for all Cypriots, but not with people of your caliber.

The "RoC" is built on your misery and pain and that of other TCs, you you have no problem selling them out at the bat of an eye lid, you have chosen who you support being the GC community, bend over and let them continue to bugger as you have now become so accustomed you like and want more to please your masters.

You dont even live here and you want to make a better tomorrow for us who live here dictating right and wrong, who gives you that right? Why don't you fight your "corrupt state" to get the negotiations going rather looking for a "backdoor recognition" to legalise your illegal state. The current divide is a product of all the wrong doings of the past, I didnt create it, my communities safety and well being are pararmount and that means the TRNC must survive and flourish, the TCs deserve to live like everyone else in the world with dignity and pride and not be subject to purely GC rule, nothing has changed we are still at risk unless we have clear structures under a BBF to secure our future as a community there will be no deal, we will not be bulldozed aside by the GCs, until we find that formula we will keep the safety of the Turkish army and if there is no hope of finding that structure we will not wait around forever we will try to move forward and if this means fighting for recognition we will do that as well.

The RoC has been there since 1960 with it's, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. I do not have a problem pointing these out. Young countries and Democracies all go through "growing pains" of trying to commit "self destruction" as the case has been between the TC's and the GC's but if allowed and once the dust settles, that's when the country's true potentials starts to take hold. But you are hardly in a position to speak from and Moral Authority about the RoC having been built on the misery of the TC's, when the "TRNC" is built on the same grounds you accuse the RoC of. Are you once again being a hypocrite Miss Piggy, or is it only your pain that matters over other Cypriots, who after 30+ years are still suffering, where you don't have any problem being complicit in the act of stealing their land and make exchanges for profit between the TC's, the settlers and the foreigners.

The TRNC is in place and has been for the past 24 years so get used to it, the island is divided and if a solution is to be found we have to agree as well. If there is no agreement then the TRNC continues recognized or not..deal with it.

I have question........ can a Morphiti for example who speaks Turkish and who was originally from Morphou be able to vote in 2008 elections? How would that work for those Cypriots who have always lived in the north (now occupied areas of Cyprus).
