Can anybody tell what the weather is like for a holiday in April?

Last April began with storms interspersed with lovely blues skies, temps were in the low 20s. The further into the month you get the warmer & drier it becomes.

April is always a little windy but the flowers are beautiful.

I think it is really good in April. I have been before, it's well worth going.

Over the years I have been to Cyprus many times in April and the weather is always a lot warmer than the UK and the flower are fantastic (as kafenes said).
Try and make it late April though.

The first April we were in Cyprus my wife went swimming at Buttons Bay, the locals thought she was mental!

The next year she waited til June.

If you're an outdoor lover then April is probably the best month to visit.
The spring flowers are everywhere, it's mostly warm and sunny (average 5 days of rain in April on the coast) and visibility is really clear so a great time for photos.
The sea is a bit cold (probably around 19 degrees - but MUCH warmer than the UK!). And the best bit - wherever you decide to stay you won't find lots of lager louts!

Me and my husband found the weather was great last April. We visited from 16th April for 1 week. Everyday was really warm ( sunbathing weather) but the evenings were cold. Couldn't believe it as we go in August to aand in August its really warm at night.

We are going back this April and can't way 23rd for 1 week.

When does the evenings start to warm up????

Generally April has lovely weather with mainly warm sunny days but chilly nights so bring a jumper or a wrap!! Like anywhere the weather is changeable so keep an eye on the forecast or just ask us again nearer the time - we will be happy to help.

Cyprus is very scenic after the winter rain (hopefull more to come).. It looks fresh, green and as Kafenes said the flowers are beautiful. Like a proper English spring if that makes sense to you!!!
