Don't worry, GR, Kifeas and Pisartist are getting ready for an attack on the TRNC and Turkey. I think the balance of power is now in your favour and the attack is imminent.

Peterc I get most of what you have said. However, I do not agree with d division of Cyprus. The simple fact is Turkey invaded Cyprus in 1974, the international community condemed this action, they have also stood by to watch the the violation of human rights and not take further action.

The US & Britain are covertly through their actions build hopes and expectations on both sides of the fence to keep the separation alive and the animoscity growing to fulfill theri needs. Their actions are very clear. US has a unversity in the occupied areas, the British have recently recognised the so called trnc through their treaty with Turkey. Why would an EU or non EU country sign a treaty with an occupying force is beyond me. Simple and clear,.

Consider yourself lucky for being able to live in Pyla. If it can happen there it can happen everywhere within Cyprus, However personal gains, and racism prevail.

Humanist, its well documented that britain is a puppet, as long as the US pulls the strings, and needs turkey we will continue to see britain undermime us. dont accept it but get used to it.

I refuse to get used to it. If I get used to that jsut like I got used to many other things before I will be seeing the environment destroyed infront of my eyes and I will be saying don't accept it get used to it. In a hundret yers or so there will be no earth as it will be burning up.

Thanks for the opportunity to debate and put some thoughts down though.

Kifeas stated it well in his past posts- If partition is on the table then the territory split must be 18-82 per cent and the coastline shared along the same lines. He even had a map to show how the situation would look.

Like PeterC, I feel that the situation with this "we are a special case" whining of the TCs does get tedious. It is tempting to say OK go over the fence and be as special as you want on your own, leave us alone. Not fair, but tempting.

Letting go of Karpasia forever is like losing an arm. But the alternative sometimes does seem worse.

Now you are waking up to the fact that agreed division is the only real solution as both sides lack the depth and understanding to compromise and unite, welcome to the real world.
