How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Not stupid GG....it would be nasty but not stupid.

WHats stupid is Fanos promoting ill gotten gains of a conquering army.

point well taken as far as the stupid vs. nasty.
however, i still don't understand what fanos is being acused of as far as what this thread was originally about. if you are referring to his move to the north, well, i think fanos has some good arguments. i think you'd have to be in his shoes to find out why he did that. he did not, apparently, chose an easy path when he went north. but is there a law against that? does everyone hate him so much because of this move? i cannot comprehend this, being in american. i do not mean to make anyone crazy with my inquiries, but i would like to understand what no one had yet to explain to me.
assuming the majority of the readers here are christian, or at least have a christian background, isn't there some biblical passage about he who is sinless can cast the first stone....???? something to that effect.... does Fanos's prescence in the north really affect any of you on a personal level?

Actually GG here in Cyprus we are christian orthodox which is a meaner strain of christianity...we like to pass judgement first and ask questions later

The issue with Fanos living in the north is of no concern of mine. His promotion of Turkish businesses built on stolen GC land is my business however and i reserve my rights to screw his attempts up.

(unless of course he can let us know that the business he works for is not using any GC property.)

regardless of who owns the property the casino is on, that has no bearing on Fanos. he is just making a living. his intentions are to pay back loans. does this mean Fanos should not pay the Tulip Cancer Foundation because he earned that money from what you may call an illegal business? and why should fanos have to prove to you, or anyone on this forum, who owns the property the casino is on, or how that was obtained? as for it being your business, how so is it your business? do you work for the government in a position that is trying to find properties once owned by GC's and return that to them? if so, you are doing a pretty lousy job at it.
i just think everyone is picking on someone who has had a rough time, is trying to make good, and he is being treated as a scapegoat for the whole CY Prob.

GG if you had a burglary in your house and you found someone on the street selling your grandmothers old heirlooms and some of your beloved personal jewllery would you undertand that he is just trying to make good with life? Even if he knows that this stuff is stolen from your house?

"Perdikis is a visitor of casinos himself, only he lost too much to admit it!"

Can you back this up with facts? Dates, places, maybe even a snapshot or two?

i understand what you are trying to say, but fanos is not selling anything. and it seems like no matter how he makes his living in the north, it is not going to be alright with you. but the fact is, he is in the north, adn i don't think it's too easy for him to return to the south now.
it kind of reminds me of my countries history with slavery. it would be a little ridiculous for the blacks to continue to hold a grudge against the whites, just because at one point, we kept them as slaves.

gg you are either really stupid, a turk lover, turkish, on a wind up, fishing, or just a typical yank slut to be coming out with the kind of comments that you are making! how can you even compare an ongoing situation i.e the cyprus problem with something that happened and ended hundreds of years ago? ie slavery, and even then yes there are black people that still hate whites till this day for what you did hundreds of years ago, so go back to the street corner you are used to working on you crack whore and leave cyprus to the cypriots you traitor loving piece of american shit!
