Quite an old team - where is the new blood coming from? Very concerned to be honest. Where is the next Lampard and Gerrard? Where is the next Beckham, where is the next Rio? Please don;t tell me Lennon or SWP those guys are not in the same league as Becks. He has been a true legend and World Class, any player to upstage Figo, Zidane and Ronaldo like he did at Real deserves a special mention.

If there is young talent in England then we need to limit the foriegners so the youth can get their chance, if we don't then we will not qualify for the next World Cup either.

I agree with some of the comments here but....

Its not all the fault of the players! The man who got the sack is totally at fault.

Why... *was Crouch up front Solo?
*If the idea was to get the ball on Crouches head was Beckham
on the bench in the first half?
*Put James a seasoned goalie as sub and field a cabbage?
*Remove Wright Phillips who I believe that during the second half
when England steppped it up would have added the much needed
pace.
Where was...
Lennon.
Johnson.
Walcott.
The entire defence.

I am very dissapointed but you know what, The next time England field a Team I will support as far as possible beause..... I am English and I am a football fan.

And yeah as Greeks we can talk and give it large because guess what...we ARE the current European Football Champions, and we didnt win our 1 and only major championship when tv's were still black and white...and even then the russian linesman helped you out!

i dont know every now and then you get an english idiot who is deluded and spouts a load of crap! ther are a few greek safc fans i`ve met but not too many! my dad used to play in cyprus for alki, and he used to rent motorcycles to the english in the bases so they always looked after him and gave him english newspapers so he always loved the english game and remembered the sunderland bank of england days, he liked the name sunderland and thought it would be sunny up there ! and vowed that if he ever went to england he would go and watch sunderland play, in 1960 he did and liked it so much he stayed up there for 6 months he took me to my my first home match when i was 3 and the rest as they say is history. cheers, by the way keano is the man!

Yes greece do hold the tittle.... I dont think they will be celebtating so hard next year.

I was in Cyprus when greece won the cup.... Sat in my wifes family house in limassol and on the final whilstle, I saw the Cypriot flag come off the flag poles and the greek one go up... tutt tutt.
