Btw, the last time DT and I were at an Irish pub together, Charilaos Stavrakis was sitting just behind us... another time Averoff was a couple of seats down... you get that in Nicosia and it's funny... :)
you talk as though i would want to associate with politicians! as for that averoff i would like to punch him straight in the mouth-traitor, this is the problem with cyprus we should be shooting these arseholes not drinking with them!

I DID say "funny"... What could be more enjoyable than watching Averoff's weird mannerisms while sipping coffee two tables away on a lazy Sunday?
i tell you what would be funnier, telling him "na bas na gamithis, tse esu tse i ratsa sou bou en tse mathimeni re gie tis boutanas" just before smacking him clean in the mouth, and then get my kids to laugh at him while he picks his teeth up! now that would be funny  that is also the reason he wouldnt drink in larnaca! some bello skalioti would probably do it

Yeah... well you Skalliotes, Lemessiani, Paphites, etc, always like to "solve" problems like that... :?
whereas you "horaites" are just a bunch of malakes!

I don't have to go to Nicosia or anywhere else to see these people cause they come to see me. Almost every polititian (including Papadopoulos) has been to the bar where I work and listened to me not to mention Rod Steward, George Benson and many Greek stars and English football players. BEAT THAT GUYS!!! :)

Far better than other cities when it come to lots of things but is the capital and is busy...and is not all day long so bad. Well I never had to work in the center but a bit further. Not that is better since I had to cross the roads that connect Colleges, embassies and center. I still can say ... Cyprus is heaven at least you can put loud your music, yell at people talk on your mobile (with hands free always) until you move further and go home relaxed since you got out of your body all this stress from works. :D

I know it is better than other cities, I use to live in a small city in England. We had more stuff there and it was all spread out, no traffic no nothing (there was traffic at sales). I have been in Nicosia and I thought why is it like this, but if you notice there is too many shops and businesses on huge flats with limited parkings in a relatively short distance. Why do they need huge flats holding businesses in a vertually empty city.

I like Cyprus, just don't like travelling in the capital, one hour there drains me completely. People their are nice though.

Sega you lived in a small city in England and now you want to compare it with the capital of Cyprus. Even if Cyprus is a small island with less than a million or whatever population, Nicosia is the capital and has most of the big business/companies, most of the people around there etc. Compare Nicosia's traffic with London's traffic.

I hate it when people come from abroad to live in Cyprus or people who born and grow up in a differnet country from Cypriot parents and when they decided to come and live in Cyprus they moan all the time.

Heating....get one and stop moaning....traffic in the capital...sorry for that too...Cyprus is too hot with long summers....moaning....Cyprus suddenly change weather because is end of November and almost the first month of winter and all suddenly they freeze.

Guy guy...you really dont know what you have there. I hate UK I hate UK ...and if I did not mention it I hate UK....so please do me a favor and stop moaning about my country like that

By the way Sega...dont get me wrong people in UK are nice...is just the rest of the country that is wrong!

With all my respects!

PS: By the way, i am going to send the info you asked tomorrow. Sorry!

And just to sum up all this cities differences...Paphos comes first with difference with people and beauty of the city but is quite dead during winter and is far away from the capital that you can go and sort out issues.

Limassol has great way of having fun and enjoy going out there and has lots of romantic spots

Nicosia's life is beyond discussion....the best and all kind of night clubs and places with live music, is the capital all the offices and government services are there, the city is never dead even during summer you can see going around even if its 3 am, is close to the see and mountain if you want to go but you dont get all the humidity that other cities has during the summer.

As for Famagusta has great beaches and crazy night life.

In my humble opinion.
