Nicosia is better, but the town center is way too busy for me. I think you people need an underground or something. Seriously it really is taking the pis*.

How much were it,

My system cost me around CY 7,500 but this is no ballpark figure because it all depends on floors, compressor strength, type of controls, etc, too many factors to consider.

you got any pictures online?

The system itself is Israeli but you can combine it with whichever suitable 3-phase compressors you like. I use one Israeli 52,000 btu and one American 64,000 btu.

Ow ye... and what does it do special? I might get one... what make a model is it?

You can only install this system to a NEW home because you need to have rectangular holes in your ceiling and in every room to accommodate the grills, etc. The fans, hoses, etc are in your roof.

What's so good about it?

1. Every room has a unique temperature level via remote control (summer or winter doesn't matter)

2. The air is always CONDITIONED (cleaned and humidity removed) before being pumped into the system.

3. Ducts constantly REMOVE existing air to form a circular air flow.

4. Very powerful... stand under a duct while its 42 degrees heat outside and you'll turn into an ice cube in around 2.5 minutes or the reverse during winter.

5. Using 3-phase means that the system is ISOLATED from the rest of the house's electrics as it uses an exclusive phase.

There's much more but I'm tired... :)

I guess freezing does not sound that bad anymore :-)... is it expensive to run? I put my airconditioning on heat and to be honest it's cr*p, I get a sore throught every time it's on. Does this have the same problem?

Of course not! Those ₤200..600 units they sell with the small single-phase compressors are crap mate... there's just no comparison!

Hmm... no comparison. It must be good then. I would prefer if it came from a make I knew of, their website kinda shoddy too, no offence.

I think he was implying that Larnaca is best ~~ and I must say I agree with him :D .

I have 3 close friends and a god daughter living in Nicosia and whilst I enjoy visiting them and going out for a meal with them I usually can't wait to get on the highway back to the sunny sea side town of Larnaca  .

Oh by the way NONE of those people I visit in Nicosia have central heating

Far better than other cities when it come to lots of things but is the capital and is busy...and is not all day long so bad. Well I never had to work in the center but a bit further. Not that is better since I had to cross the roads that connect Colleges, embassies and center. I still can say ... Cyprus is heaven at least you can put loud your music, yell at people talk on your mobile (with hands free always) until you move further and go home relaxed since you got out of your body all this stress from works. :D

Larnaca is more layed back, I feel I am forced going to Nicosia to do my jobs. I hate going there, it's the traffic mostly I hate. The shops are huge there, people are nice too.
