Almost every polititian (including Papadopoulos) has been to the bar where I work and listened to me not to mention Rod Steward, George Benson and many Greek stars and English football players. BEAT THAT GUYS!!! :)
firstly i dont want to see them, secondly ROD STEWART!!!! ffs man! anyway to be in paphos is to be miles away from everything else and full of mafia and russians! not to mention over-inflated tourist prices, and swimming in a sea that would rather drown you than let you relax, thats if you`ve got any feet left from the rocks on the beach! not to mention the paphites speak some kind of dialect all their own

Ime skaliotis re. I live here because of my work but I do like the place even though my house is in larnaca.
nothing wrong with the place i`m just joking! still not as good as skala tho`

Thats what i call Skaliotis...dive your tongue into your brain before you talk. Fights and swearing doesnt solve everything!
yeah cos we can all see how far talking has got us! by the way can someone please translate Lena`s posts for me as i dont know what she`s going on about half the time  i`ve tried to google "dive your tongue into your brain before you talk" but it just came back with "clueless un-educated moronic woman trying to be clever whilst talking nonsense, without too much success, probably from nicosia"

Sega you lived in a small city in England and now you want to compare it with the capital of Cyprus. Even if Cyprus is a small island with less than a million or whatever population, Nicosia is the capital and has most of the big business/companies, most of the people around there etc. Compare Nicosia's traffic with London's traffic.

Well when you know two birthplaces you want to basically get the best out of both places.

LENA wrote:I hate it when people come from abroad to live in Cyprus or people who born and grow up in a differnet country from Cypriot parents and when they decided to come and live in Cyprus they moan all the time.

Ye me too, I don't moan about Cyprus, but I seem to moan when I am forced to go to the capital for jobs. Then again I don't know one person in where I live who doen't. I moan about my house because it's sh*t, not because it's in Cyprus. When I am in England I moan about the weather, or I moan about having to help dad in his stupid chippy. I thought you knew that I was a moaner, it's nothing to do with the country I am at, it's just the way I am. I tried not moaning for like 3 days, believe me it's much worse, I nearly went insane.

LENA wrote:By the way Sega...dont get me wrong people in UK are nice...is just the rest of the country that is wrong!

Yep

I use this forum is find answers to problems I find in Cyprus, so I can solve them. I got really good input so far. Bill is really knowledgable and some other people gave me good tips. Thats the purpose of this forum to me. I learned about SIPs, so when it comes time to build my house I will probably do it using this method.

I also wondered why houses were warmer in the UK and cooler and summer, and some people said it was the way they were built. So now I know when it comes time for me to build my house if I can I will use this method. I could not care less about what others do or live like, I only care how I can control and solve the problems I have. And this forum is brilliant for it.

Your funny:
