The fact is that the GCs (especially the capitalists) started questioning the Enosis dream very shortly after 1960. Basically because they started realising what we would become a poor district of an already poor Country.Unfortunately however the nationalists were prevailing. It is not surprising to me that after the death of our nationalism in 1974 the Enosis idea fainted completely.

After the Turkish intervention in 1974, there was no "Cyprus" for Enosis. However you achieved the Enosis(Full political union with Greece) in the remaining part of Cyprus, under full control of Hellenic Ruling Elite; behind the mask of "RoC".

I take my lessons from you!

I cannot understand how you can say that enosis with Greece has been achieved! Political union means us being a subordinate administration to Greece, which we are not, to take orders from Greece, which we don't, to pay taxes to Greece which we don't.

As opposed to the 'trnc' which is a subordinate administration to Turkey, whicih is told what to do by Turkey, which is essentailly funded by Turkey, which is protected by Turkey etc etc etc.

And then you go and question my intelligence! Go figure!

As long as GC's and Greece's ruling elite have full cooperation and common interests there's no need for "taking orders" from each other. They are already working together on all common issues in full consensus.
