New plot to genocide Turks

General Hilmi ÖZKÖK 20 April 2005 wrote:... This beautiful country belongs to all of us, and there is no other place we can leave for. ...

Not just in Cyprus in the 1960-70s were Turks in danger of a plot to be genocided(sarcasm: It was a lie used to first commit the pogram of 1955 and then to ethnically cleanse Cyprus of Greeks ). Even in 2005 the Turkish nation is in danger and they cannot leave for anywhere else, maybe they should kill Kurds.

Is there a Greek politican or diplomat smart enough to expose this nation and their Kemalist fascism? It is not hard just read what their General Staff write, translate it and make it known internationally.

For those interested in real history Hikmet Bil editor of Hurriyet in the 1950s and the leader of the Kibris Turktur created in the Turkish press the idea that Turks in Cyprus would be massacred by Greeks. On August 28 two weeks before the pogrom against Istanbul Greeks, Turkish Prime Minister Adnan Menderes publicly claimed Greeks were planning a massacre against Turkish Cypriots.

The idea that the Turkish nation is in constant mortal danger is always maintained by the official fascist ideology of Kemalism. The 20 April 2005 speech of Ozkok confirms this.

After Mikelides I’m the craziest in Cyprus, so is obvious what I’m the champion in here.

I’ve found another one today of our kind:

http://www.alithia.com.cy/alithia_v2/fr ... xt_id=6033

I think what we are the saint trinity in Cyprus. One to fix your psychological problems (Mikelides), one to fix your brains (it’s obvious who) and one to help you suicide:

Μια και είστε γιατρός, πώς θα ονομάζατε την ασθένεια της Κύπρου;
Δεν μπορώ να πω με σιγουριά το όνομά της, σίγουρα όμως είναι κακοήθης ασθένεια, και μάλιστα καλπάζουσας μορφής.
Να ελπίζουμε σε θεραπεία;
Να μην ελπίζετε.
Δεν βλέπετε τρόπο ίασης;
Βλέπω τρόπο παθητικής ευθανασίας.
Η οποία θα έρθει;
Ασφαλώς. Νομοτελειακά.

Here is a New York Times headline from 1954.

THREAT TO TURKS SEEN; Mufti, Here, Tells of Fear if Greece Should Get Cyprus

THE NEW YORK TIMES
December 14, 1954, Tuesday
Page 2, 163 words

DISPLAYING FIRST PARAGRAPH - The existence and the very lives of the 100,000 Turks on Cyprus would be in "grave danger" should Cyprus be placed under the administration of Greece, Mufti Muderan Dana of Cyprus declared here yesterday.

http://select.nytimes.com/gst/abstract. ... 5F408585F9

They probably don't mention the Enosis of Rhodes and Kos in 1947 happened without a problem.

And this 1953 headline I find quite intriguing.

CHARGE PLOT IN DELAY OF MUFTI VOTE ON CYPRUS
Press Alleges Intrigue in Favor of Turk
Chicago Daily Tribune (1872-1963) - Chicago, Ill.
Date: Oct 5, 1953

Two Turkish language newspapers here today accused government officials of intrigue in an attempt to get Mahmut Kiamil of Istanbul elected as mufti, or supreme religious leader of 95,000 Turkish Moslems on the island.

The pogrom in Istanbul started after a planted bomb went off in Attaturk's place of birth in Thessaloniki. Later it was officially confirmed by Turkey that the bomb had been planted.

Similarly, Raouf Dentash confirmed that the bomb that started the Nicosia riots in 1958 had been planted by his people (interviews and memoirs).

The technique of provocation is an old favorite with Turks. We have still to wake up and realise how cynical our adversaries are.

Americans know this because they used the very same technique against their native people. First they massacred them, then they claimed the Indians were savages who threatened the (invading and colonizing) Anglos. A whole mythology is built on the image of the savage Indians. No wonder they two are such close allies.

... and how cynical GCs can be

IN HIS BOOK The First Partition, Makarios Droushiotis reveals, among other things, that the bomb explosion at the Marcos Drakos statue at Paphos Gate in Nicosia on December 3, 1963, was the work of the Akritas organisation. Akritas was the paramilitary group set up by the late Archbishop Makarios, which had as its leader Polycarpos Yiorkadjis and as its deputy leader Tassos Papadopoulos. This was admitted by members of the organisation, and confirmed by an officer of the Cyprus army, Chrysafis Chrysafi, who said he had heard Yiorkadjis giving the relevant orders.
