Britain aware of injustice on TC

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

By the way I am not against Turkey recognizing RoC anymore? I think they should if that is what GCs want.

This only solidifies partition in my brain. I mean the reason Turkey did not recognize RoC is because they are waiting for a solution. Partition is a solution as well. May be GCs do not like it, but it is.

So I think Turkey should recognize RoC and offer them the building next to TRNC embassy in Ankara as embassy.

I do not know what GCs are expecting to get by recognition from Turkey. Do they expect that when Turkey recognize RoC, she will immediately draw all its troops from north (which I support actually to the fullest), and stop recognizing TRNC as legitimate country (which I only support in the event of a solution, but as long as status quo continues in Cyprus, Turkey will not stop recognizing TRNC).

Actually this would make thinsg better for Turkey, because she would trun things back to normal with RoC, if they wish to do so, on Turkey's terms which is partition.

Good luck to all GCs,

I do not agree with your assesment turkcyp, either solution or we get recognition, 30 years of isolation, ambargoes and forced to migrate to make a living, no sorry this is unacceptable.

I do not understand how you disagree with me. We are not saying anything different. All I am saying is that Turkish recognition of RoC without a solution will solidify the partition more, and TRNC recognition will come in time, (after long long time if we can wait).

Don't you realize more and more everyday that the only solution that is acceptable to GCs is a solution which does not involve "communal equality", and any solution without that is not acceptable for us.

I thing GCs would feel like "Bagdata pirince giderken eldeki bulgurdan olduk" by not accepting Annan Plan. Translate this right now.

Anyway all I can say is "Learn to live in a stressful and under constant threat of your RoC neighbor for years to come, because GCs will never approve partition."

I have said it before and I am saying it again. I believe time is on our side. I am more than happy with Piratis to see how the balance of power will shift. I'll take that risk.
