The Flags of the Pentadaktylos, WHY?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

A better indicator of male virility/fertility and reproductive success is the length of his middle finger. 8)

Reason being that longer middle fingers produce evolutionary success because the "Hunter" male could throw spears better.

 Poor DT has a little stump for a middle finger... :(

It mainly is a knee-jerk reaction to the embargo and isolation. When visitors to Cyprus see the flag on the hill, then they start asking about it, which leads to their learning about the north. So it is a statement of existance, plus a ginormous finger to the south. Not exactly a subtle symbol

That's exactly what Deniz's complaint is...

They are facing north towards Turkey and a sign of our good relations with those that not only support us financially but are always morally by our sides. Why should we put up flags of GC states run by GCs for GCs.

Utu,

If you know about the political situation in Cyprus from a long distance as you are in Canada, what makes you think others only learn about the problems in Cyprus, only once they see these flags on "Graffiti Mountain".

What make you special and more knowledgeable than others.???

We can all see how narrow minded and absurd your entire perspective of the Cyprus problem is. Just take your rather imbecilic and belligerent contention that ONLY THE GLORIOUS TRNC is the true republic , (shame it has 40 thousand foreign troops telling it what to do ! ) the other pseudo state that dares call it self the "ROC" which happens to be recognised by every single country on this planet , apart of course from the occupying force that saw fit to install a puppet state and try to sell to the world as the ONLY ONE THAT IS LEGIT.What bullshit VP , WHAT A TRAVESTY OF REALITY !!! Wake up , Cyprus is one island and such it will remain ,. for the sake of future generations .
You live in a fools paradise and have cast away reality substituting it with fantasy .

Maybe because by my being IN Canada, I can see the issue more dispassionately. In any case, I'm not claiming any 'better knowledge'. I'm just here to put my opinion on the website. You - as well as anyone else here - is free to read it, ignore it, agree with it or disagree with it. Your choice.

Deniz, this is what a great number of people are also asking. I am glad that another Cypriot has stood up to ask the question. However, pls be mindful that there are a few other Cypriots who live in the north that will call you many names for asking the obvious question and making your statement.

Welcome to the Cypriot club mate.

Talat and his administration are nothing but a hypocritical puppet regime that functions on what Turkey says. Utu your a turk of Canada who cannot identify with the impact war (such as the one Turkey perpetrated on Cyprus in 1974) has on a society.

I vote for Quebec's independence.

Sorry to but in on a point of order but, as we're picking holes, the traditional Cypriot word for Cypriot is 'Gibreiga' (or 'Kipreika')... Kipriaka is the Greek word for Cypriot.
