I'm sorry that you said this if it was refering to TCs. It is obviously untrue, and I hope most GCs turn their backs on it.
I think Miltiades has the right idea.
Observer , just in case you have not noticed this guy is NOT A CYPRIOT , but a Greek !! I'm a Greek Cypriot and have always stated this but there is a vast difference between the Cypriot Greeks , as indeed between the Cypriot Turks , and the mainland Greeks and mainland Turks respectively.
Our nation is that of CYPRUS , the ROC not as this irresponsible individual would have us believe. I'm the same Cypriot as Deniz , Kikapu , Birkibrisly MR.from.NG and all Cypriots who love their island and take no bullshit from the producers of nauseating nonsense surrounding their "perceived" motherlands. Cyprus trades worldwide as Cyprus not bloody Greek or bloody Turkish.
LONG LIVE CYPRUS AND LONG MAY OUR INDEPENDENCE FROM THE TWO FOREIGN COUNTRIES CONTINUE !!
Of course Meltiade I am a Greek . it just happened to born in an occupied part of Hellenism but despite this i have not sold my soul to occupators and Junta and other trators.
So that I know , are you a Cypriot Greek or a Kalamaras Greek , you may have mentioned it but I have missed seing it. Please tell me.
In the meantime let me re assure you that Im a proud Cypriot , a nation with its own history much older than that of Greece , also a culture that has its own unique flavour , history and tradition , just as my Pappou was a Kipreos and my great grandfather who was a priest and their grandfathers before them . All Kiprei -CYPRIOTS .
Some Cypriots who study in Greece , due to a lack of confidence in their own personalty tend to submit themselves to becoming "Greeks" use their accent , you know the type of colloquial words used by Athenians mostly , such as ela re pousti , katse re malaka , ai gamisou pousti and such other illuminating phraseology common to the Athenians, however there are those of us Cypriots who have every confidence in our OWN culture and remain faithful to our native colloquialisms , for example assiktir , kerata , kolopedo etc etc.
Tell us if you are a Greek mate .
ps. I'M A CYPRIOT SAME AS KIKAPU , BIRKIBRISLY , AHMED , ALEX , NIKITAS , HUMANIST , KIFEAS PIRATIS GR , MRFROMNG AND ALL OTHER CYPRIOT LOVING PEOPLE.
LONG MAY THE SUNSHINE CONTINUE TO ATTRACT QUALITY "IMMIGRANTS " AND TOURISTS INTO CYPRUS !!!
