The interesting thing is to see those flags in a gale. From what I read those flags are mighty big, some 250 square meters each. A lot of surface area to present to a gale. It will be an interesting study in engineering.

You are right,dear Nikitas...When I was in the RoC recently I kept getting irritated by the sight of those flags...But my TC (True Cypriot!) Brother said people did not notice them any more...Maybe that is why they are going for the new design!!!

I was going to say that, but you "beat" me to it.

VP always asks me to say ONE thing that the TC's have done in the "TRNC" that is positive. The fact that the question is always flawed, hence the fact I do not give an answer to, and if I were to give one, the flags on "Graffiti Mountain" would be one of them, which I would say, "well done TC's, you have managed to get the biggest flag painted on the ground". Will this bring all the attention the TC's need from around the world to give them recognition. The answer of course is a BIG No. There is nothing more annoying than listening to some small minded individuals who thinks by painting a large flag on the ground will improve their cause to get a recognition. VP made the statement last week, that the new flag will make the GC's take notice, that the "TRNC" exists, and this new flag will prove that. I was able to see the "old" flag from 40 kilometers away with the naked eye before, and if the GC's were not convinced that the "TRNC" did not exist then, they are not going to be convinced just because they are able to see the "New" flag from 50 kilometers away.

It is also the short comings of those who have pushed for the new flags to be painted. It is a major event to those who have absolutely nothing else in their lives to be proud of, other than this Nationalistic insult that is aimed at the GC's. What the TC's fail to realise is, as they are inflicting this insult to the GC's, they are showing how small minded they are, that it is acts such as the flags that makes them to be real "Man or Heroes" to their Partition cause. I find this whole attitude very embarrassing to be honest, that my community can think in such belitting attitude behind the security of the Turkish Army that does not add anything to what they claim, which is to find a solution to our political Problems.

So yes, it is almost like a man who thinks his Penis is not large enough but wants to be seen as "Don Juan" so he goes and puts a "tooth pick" at the end of his Penis, so that he can now brag about being 3 inches longer, even though every one around him are laughing at him, but if that wasn't bad enough, he now wants to put a "chopstick" at the end of his Penis, so that he can claim it be extra 9 inches longer than anyone else's Penis.

Lets hope that our "Don Juan" will be embarrassed enough with this act of mindless and self defeating games of narrow mindlessness as to who has the largest flag, or Penis as the case may be, that his next extension of his Penis size does not have a "Javelin" at the end of it.

BEST THING TO DO IS ?

end the talks ...end the peace lobbies ...remine the buffer zone ,,,close the gates ,up the walls and accept that the TRNC have a right to exist and protect their people ...AND accept that they are our enemy and looking damage and kill us at every opportunity ...their hate so obivious but they too fought for their half of the island ....they have a right to be angry so do the southern cyps ..but neither community really wants to co exist ....this is dream ,which will never happen ..you cannot tame nor discipline a snake ...

OR

let the two communties CO exist ...and end this sharade ...focus on more important issues ...effecting cyprus like water .,education ,reskilling ths workforce etc .... TAKE THE 5BILLION AID PACKAGE COMING AND WORK AND CO EXIST FOR OUR CHILDRENS SAKE ....
