Papadopoulos Vs Papadopoulos

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Today we lost from Germany in football but we did our best. What respect would anybody have for us if we just didn't go to play and we said that the Germans can get the 3 points without us giving a fight? You are the hopeless one because we have hope that we can win our island from those invadors that occupy it. You don't think we can win. You want to give up. You are hopeless.

Sotos . . . I hope you realise I was only kidding with that "donkeys playing football for Cyprus" remark?

(I have been in the UK too long . . . bad humour) :(

Sorry! :D

I thought Sotos was referring to my post. I agree with him . I have always supported Cyprus ' football. Victories or no victories. They have done well.

Isn't it awful when people don't quote the person they are referring to . . . leaves you prey to your conscience (and mine is on permanent "guilt").

But I do think I made a cultural faux pas . . . mentioning football (I know nothing!).

Yes play for win not play for humiliating, when you threat Europe and America in football analogies is like you are playing with Brazil with Lillikas goal keeper and Papadopoulos for striker with only 2 players and with the men’s in black playing you 100% - %0 just for fun.

And you had your chance to win though a solution where the Turks were about to kicked out and where you could have some TC’s in the bench to help you score against Turkey with European referees!!!

No need for the guilt trip. No body is perfect. Even Napoleon. The ultimate lawmaker. Thanks for the good night wishes. You need to give me a few french lessons so I could reply in the same language  Sorry Mr Phoenix. A slip of the tongue.

Phoenix, would you mind telling me the colour of your hair? I am trying to draw a mental pic of you. Most ladies have posted their pic, but havent seen yours yet. omg. wrong thread. again.

Daemon, I know this football analogy is meant for Sotos . . . but on the whole you are supporting regaining freedom for Cyprus from the Turks. So your goal is the same.

But how can you still trust that the TCs would help Cyprus, and go against Turkey? They have chosen their allegiance and they don't want to play on the same team as the GCs.

ok lets say we accepted the annan plan...according to you we would then turn around and have everything nullified through the EU courts...your logic is flawed and allow me to explain...

Has it ever occur to you that...
1...the turks would never agree...and who was gonna force them to obey EU courts?...when they totally ignore UN res.
2...the tcs would never agree and that would probably lead to a fresh round of problems...

The above are realities and unless the deal negotiated is everlasting problems will continue to plaque the island and its inhabitants...

Deniz I am just normal looking, typical Cypriot looks. Nothing special. I know people think I must look like a monster because of what I say . . . maybe I do look like a monster  . . . but in real life I'm the sort of person people turn to, because I am very approachable and look "kindly". :D

Is that enough to go on?

But if another photo posting thread gets going . . . I may post a picture . . . since BAYRAK are going to feature me during my cycling tour anyway!
