Motorbike Thread

Postby cyprusgrump » Fri Nov 16, 2007 2:34 pm

Hi,

There was a thread about motorbikes a while ago but I’m damned if I can find it…

Having just bought a new bike I’d like to meet up with some like minded people for ride-outs, etc.

Any contact details would be greatly appreciated although it isn’t a Harley…

A lot of bikers back home ride up and down the coast and then sit outside a local ice cream parlour watching the world go by. They do look funny all dressed in their leathers drinking tea/ coffee or having an ice cream etc. Harmless fun, hey ho!

BTW, sorry cannot help you. Do not have a bike and do not know anyone who does.

Sorry, HOGs is just for Harleys :( However, there are BMW owners club and Japanese Super bikes group.

There is a Harley ride this Sunday to Paphos.

Hey, I know its a bit off on a tangent but I made a thread earlier about looking for bike instructors in Nicosia and no one responded. Anyone know any? Even Larnaka will do. Ive booked my motorbike license test for January and will hop on a bike the day after I take it. Took the CBT course back in the UK, rode 125cc bikes for a while, came back here and was told by my instructor he'd "prepare" me for the test and it turned out the preparation was pointing at the clutch, brakes and gear, no preparation for a 500cc bike =P I've drooled over bikes since I was 17 (23 now) and seriously can't wait for the day I take the bike out to the twisties in Troodos =)
