""""""The Mediterranean island of Cyprus is divided into a Greek Cypriot-controlled south and a Turkish Cypriot controlled north, which is not widely recognized internationally """"

For someone who denies being a TC you sure go out of your way trying to sanitize Turkey's illegalities Utu...

We have seen so many fools like you come and go and I'll bet you thought you had this groundbreaking brilliant idea of how to gradually promote the "TRNC" without being discovered! 8)

What I promote, you pompous ass, is something that you seem to want to deny: reconciliation.

The supporting of independence for the north is doomed to failure because Turkey would end up annexing it with the 'consurrence' of the north's government. Likewise, a return to a unitary state would result in the intercommunal violence starting again. Annexation of the island - by any power - is something to be avoided. So where does it leave us? As far as I can see, a federal structure is the only realistic option remaining, and that is what I support.

The bringing in of Turkish settlers was a bad mistake. Just like the Israeli settlers in the West Bank. With a settlement, the majority of them would need to leave. It does noone - especially the Turkish Cypriots - any good having them there upsetting the demographic.

You cant exclude reconciliation with GC's now can you u2. So how does your plan work if we dont find your ways ethical? Our ways are as ethical as the rest of the free world. Your promoting a dictatorship of the Turkish kind from STOLEN lands of GC's. In Cyprus. I hope you didnt quit your day job to promote this garbage like zan and vp.

1. The north would need to nullify it's UDI.
2. The south would need to ease the economic and other restrictions on the north.
3. A proper property commission to be established to redress land losses
4. Repatriation of those Turkish Settlers without any children born in Cyprus, or without any direct relative who is of Turkish Cypriot lineage.
5. Dropping of the observance of both Turkish and Greek holidays, and replacing them with purely Cypriot holidays.
6. The removal of the British bases.
7. Actively encouraging the return of the Turkish Cypriot Disapora.
8. Eliminating Greek and Turkish as official languages.

The south doesn't have to agree to anything less than the return of lands. So now we're back to square one again. How will you get recognition other than third worlds that dont care about legality at all?
