The Syrian connection has been cut down to one day a week. Since its first sailing this contribution to ending the isloation of TCs has only carried 366 passengers, mainly British and German. Perhaps the TCs are not as isolated as they claim to be.
On a sadder note the captain and first mate of a cargo ship were lost in a storm when their ship sank. They were carrying, amongst other things, containers filled with household goods for British ex-pats in the "TRNC" - it looks the carpetbaggers may have lost their carpets.
