Hi we are in the process of setting up a charity through our company in limassol for and to build a centre for homeless dogs ,we have put a donate button wich works with paypal on our homepage . we are trying to raise enough money wich i have secured with my partners to pay half of the costs for buying a piece of land near trodos , and to pay for the building supplys so we can start works to be carried out by voulantiers, , and if anyone has some spare money or time to assist please donate what you can and be part of this alongside us.

the donation button is on our site on the top left at

Craig, don't you need some kind of permission/licence to accept donations?

Are you anything to do with June and the Dog Shelter near Moni. They are in desperate need of help and they ARE a registered charity.

I`ll come tomorrow, we will discuss it. You need some programmingstuff and you can`t resolve it thru HTML.It needs also separately website with description for your plan. ThisI`ll do for free. Your button should redirect peopleto this separately site, which I`ll host also for free. On that siteyou can include all required infos.Otherwise, people will not pay for your company, without any proof.

OK, no problem. I really like idea of dogs and appreciate people who has this kind of humanity inside.

just a quick note to say we have spoken to
Cyprus Association for the Protection and Care of Animals (CAPCA)
A charity organisation associated with RSPCA and WSPA.
It manages the PAWS Dog Shelter.
Tel: 99 683 775

and aparently the government have a registered charity section , we will be talking to them to obtain registration,,

I can certainly vouch for June because I have adopted one of their cats. I have visited thier home and it is indeed full of rescued cats and a couple of dogs.
Doesn't it make more sense to support a sanctuary that is up and running rather one that may or may not eventually open?
