Lena mou, All true moslems revere Mary the mother of Isa (Jesus)

Maryam is mentioned many times in the holy book - the Koran.

No luck there for you my dear. The punishment for 'apostasy' is not worth thinking of. No miracle here. Maryam the mother of Isa (Jesus) is revered and always respected in the Koran. Any true Moslem, brave enough to admit it is a good muslim.

My religious feelings are in my heart. I follow Rumi. Like the Koran his teachings are a compilation of all the books of the creator. He sees the good in all the 'books'.

Me too. I would apply the 'Justice of Solomon ' to Cyprus.

The punishment does not bother me, as I live in the UK. In Cyprus we have Modern Laws to govern us. Only Sharia law in Islamic countries will aply the death penalty for apostasy. (Iran stoning to death maybe, Saudi Arabia etc). Their laws will dictate the form of punishment.
