Phoenix, I discussed that very same thing with with my Parish Priest many years ago, and he said that God WOULDN'T undo the past because he gave us the intelligence to make our own decisions, and our own mistakes. (As in Eve making the decision to go against God's commands and God in return saying "Go your own way then").

and before you throw the CY PROB at me, there MUST be something good that came out of it???? as an american, i can tell you that we suffered alot of pain with the 9-11 attacks, but there was alot of good that came out of it. another classic saying: "every cloud has a silver lining."

Am I allowed to reply? :?

That makes sense!

But what gives me a headache is HOW can we know if he has not undone the past before, we had another crack at it, then he undid the past again and gave us another go at it and then undid . . . . etc :?

Yeah, I heard how New Yorkers came together after that dreadful calamity. :(
Shared troubles can bring people together.

(I'd better stop there. :D )

I had to watch Star Trek back in the 70's because my brothers were into them (and we only had one TV then  ). I really fancied Spock though.

How times have changed . . . or not? :?

my sister liked the original series, so i had to watch it as well. never liked it much though. i prefer the later series. and i do beleive they show a very positve future for the world. i pray that is exactly where we are heading!
