So lets say I got a sling box hooked up in england and get the signal here.
Because im planning to hook it up to a relatives house, would they be able to change channels?
And if they do, does that mean im gonna have to watch whatever the people on the other end want to watch?
Or is the signal that the sling player gets separate from the one going to the sky box or whatever box?

what i`ve done is i have set it up in a spare bedroom so i have full control of the channels in cyprus! if you share it with a box being used, you will watch only what is being watched in england, or ofcoarse if its your own home both ends it dont matter cos when you are in cyprus you are not in england and theres no-one here to change your channels

i`m on 1mb! but my mate vas who is the electronics whizzkid says he will find out later if it can be used on a slower cheaper speed, i`ll post his answer on here! someone on here days ago was also asking about dreambox`s! he has been doing these for years also i just didnt know they were called that in cyprus! as well in cyprus he also sells those over here in england as well! he sell loads of them they are pretty smart but a little pricey i think! if i didnt have my exceptional cable deal i would have 1 of those and sling player that over to cyprus

Have a Ptel connection home. Useless totally Cant use the phone people hear me while i cannot. internet has a ratio 1:25 so if youre downloading something big in 24 hours automatic shaper will low your speed to 1:25@ your speed which means 12-14 kb/s ( WTF do I pay or a megabit????). The only issue is that TV channels are good nothing else!

Also digging a bit deeply I've found out that the company has a personel problem! They hire new people almost every day and a lot of people are just leaving in the first 3-4 months!! What kind of service can you expect with newbies and so on, Mind their poor phone support!.
