i have a problem with my electric window it will not work and is open, is there a mechanic who can fix it or put the window back in the close position as i am getting cold.

Not wishing to suggest that you haven't already tried this, but have you checked that the electric windows override switch hasn't been accidentally pressed? On my car, it's on the same panel as the operating buttons for the windows, and if it's depressed, it will cause the windows to become inoperative.

Actually, if you take off the door trim, you should find on the motor a hex drive or a screwdriver slot thet will allow you to close the window (slowly and laboriously!) manually, as a temporary measure.
