House of Flying Daggers - visually stunning, beautiful girl

Notting Hill - love watching it curled up on a Sunday afternoon

Legend - magical

Pride and Prejudice - with Kiera Knightly

Seabiscuit - I love a happy ending

Lord of the Rings films - fantastic effects (I saw Gandalf playing Widow Twanky in London wearing a white lycra jumpsuit, very odd to connect the 2 characters)

Matrix 1 - others not great

Harry Potter films (aren't I brave admitting this! Great to watch with kids)

I have a friend who loves Harry Potter films and she is in her 70's. There is nothing wrong with being a kid at heart.

We are all excited about Christmas in my family, I hope I never grow up. I would like the child inside me to live forever.

In no order at all.....

Matrix - was an original film when it came out

Memento - Guy Pierce was amazing in this film. A complete head fu.......I mean the film messes with your head.

Godfather 1 + 2 - brilliant acting, brilliant plot

Goodfellas - gotta love Joe Pesci the absolute nutter!

The Krays - I'm very fascinated with the underworld of that time, the old East End gangsters. Have read so many books on the Krays, mad Frankie Frasier, Roy 'Pretty boy' Shaw etc. Gives you a good insight as to what it was like in that era.

Cinderella Man/Gladiator/Master and Commander - Russell Crow. What a fantastic actor. In fact, any film with him is normally brilliant.

Gangs of New York - Never like Leonardo di Caprio, but this film gave me a different opinion of him, for the better may I add.

Lethal Weapon films - Great combination of Mel Gibson and Danny Glover

Payback - Mel Gibson. Are there any good guys in this film?

Wonder Man - Danny Kaye. When I was a kid, my dad always mentioned an actor called Danny Kaye. One night, this film was on when I was in bed and he recorded it. Following day, he put it on so I can see it. Can't remember laughing so much in a film. Great great actor.

The Green Mile - This could actually be my favourite movie. Pure Brilliance.

Pulp Fiction - Love the idea and the plots.

EDIT - Fight Club, Se7en, Leon, Saving Private Ryan, First Blood and Shawshank Redemption deserve a mention.

Tomorrow, I'll probably have a totally different selection.

Dead Poets Society because of passion and love and a young mans struggle for his identity. The colour purple for the resilience of the human spirit.
