It enrages me when these brainless individuals who cant see further than their noses make sweeping statements about Cypriots and by that I mean
all Cypriots not realizing that it is precicely such views that cause so much suffering to our people. Why is it that I can mix and interact in a civilized way with my T/C compatriots , respect them and receive their respect , understand them and they will understand me , Is it may be that I want my granddaughter , and a grandson soon to be had , to grow up free of fear and hatred in a land inhabited by all Cypriots regardless of religion language or perceived ethnities , a land that will offer them opportunities and above all securities for the future. I have stated before that my love for Cyprus and its people is unconditional and recognises only Cypriots , G/Cs , T/Cs , Armenian Cypriots , but above all , they are all Cypriots.
Mr-From-NG is not only a compatriot to me but also a dear friend with whom I would share not only Cyprus but the world .Any one insulting him is also insulting me .

Now let me tell you what happens. You let them in, get them close, and then when the time comes they stab you in the back, take your home and kill your children. This has happened many times before and I am not making this up, do some research. And even if it doesnt happen, say you mix with a turk, your children become half turkish, and then 2 things happen, or they marry a GC or a TC and if it is TC, basically the greek in them, the gene that carries your name through time dies there with you, all that is left is more bloodthirsty savage turks, who will most likely fight on turks side, and cause more suffering for their greek "brethren".

I hope you see where I'm going with this and how important it is to not let your 3000 year old culture rot away under turkish hoves.

Armenians, wherever they settle, contribute and work hard and are generally good citizens. There have been close ties between Armenian Cilicia and Cyprus for over a thousand years.

Turks came in droves, kicked or slaughtered the original inhabitants and think they have land claims, just like they did to the Armenians, Assyrians, and are doing now to the Kurds. And if you, are willing to throw away the survival of your culture and identity just because you are a selfish old fool, than you are a traitor and a nuisance on Cypriot soil.

My ancestors and those of all Cypriots were not Greeks. Alexander the Great was not a Cypriot but a Macedonian Greek . The Cypriots during the Byzantine era were competing and taking parts in numerous activities as Cypriots not as Greeks. I call my self a Greek Cypriot but NEVER a Greek , try and understand the difference , same as that of the Turkish Cypriots and the Turks. My nation is Cyprus , Greece is a foreign country with which our nation shares numerous links but not the heart and the body .If all Cypriots felt the way I do there would be no conflict , there would be no foreign troops and the future of our children and grandchildren would be bright. Nonetheless, you should remember that you are communicating with a young person, you, as an adult, should not resort to insult and foul language in order to defend your position regardless of what you may perceive to be insulting.

Such abuse serves no purpose in an intelligent counter, it merely highlights the fact that there may be justice in your opponent's argument.

Quite apart from that, wasn't it miltiades who recently conceded the fact that there may be young persons viewing these discussions ?.
