I am surprised to say that some members take pride by lashing out derogatory language as means of argumentation!
Being a sixteen year old makes an individual less mature or unable to encroach upon historical debates? And you consider yourselves intellectuals?
These disparaging comments advance the Cyprus Problem at the pace of mollusk on the open road.
This is a flagrant breach of ones moral duties as orator, a historian , a debater, an intellectual or just as an intelligent human being!
If you are none of those then you
don't even belong in a Forum or public debate!
Get you act togheter!This is unacceptable!
Strive to suggest solutions or leave some constructive feedback instead of haranguing in a hostile manner!

SO I will sum up my opinion for the last time.

Before 1974, there was a small Turkish population in cyprus, a tiny minority. Once the turkish army invaded it brought with it some 150 000 mainland turks, who settled and repopulated so the number now some 40 years later must be around 200 000 and over.

My solution is, the pulling out of all turkish forces from Cypriot soil, the settlers return to mainland turkey and pay reparations for the damage, destruction and robbery of the homes of greek Cypriots, the end of the "turkish republic of northern cyprus".

Turks, altho the tiny minority has been here for 500 years, do not have a right to cause trouble on this island. The island should be governned by greeks because it is a greek island. There should be one Cyprus.

and for removing the settlers without genocide, Last year the Israelis force evacuated the Gaza strip, they pulled all israeli settlers out and made way for palestinians. The same should be done for cyprus, and where will they go might you ask? DO I care? they shouldnt have come in the first place.
