I am a newcomer on this forum although I have been browsing the various debates that have been going on!
I am surprised to say that some members take pride by lashing out derogatory language as means of argumentation!
Being a sixteen year old makes an individual less mature or unable to encroach upon historical debates? And you consider yourselves intellectuals?
These disparaging comments advance the Cyprus Problem at the pace of mollusk on the open road.
This is a flagrant breach of ones moral duties as orator, a historian , a debater, an intellectual or just as an intelligent human being!
If you are none of those then you
don't even belong in a Forum or public debate!
Get you act togheter!This is unacceptable!
Strive to suggest solutions or leave some constructive feedback instead of haranguing in a hostile manner!

As I first replied to Belenos , Im not inclined to be polite when my intelligence is insulted. You are Belenos so do us a favour and stop the crap.
As for his challenging and rather encouraging comments , according to you , you have missed out the fact that he has a tendency to sound like aman who is consumed by hatred directed , for now anyway , against the T/Cs with his disparaging comments and his "repatriation " nonsense of people who are very much a part of Cyprus .You are him mate under disquise , if Im wrong thren you too are full of shit !!

In Israel last year, They forcefully evacuated the gaza strip to give it back to the palestinians. I am merely suggesting the same...tell me what genocide was committed in that evacuation last year? They were only living in that strip for some 50 years, same goes for cyprus...40 years.

miltiades, were it not for the fact that you have an extraordinary compulsion to intersperse your comments with insults, I am sure you would receive a far more reasonable response from those who might be at odds with you.

Certainly, that would be the norm in my case.

I cannot understand WHY you are so inclined, surely you must realize that the basis of any discussion is dependent on civility at all times.

Foul language is unacceptable (although sometimes excusable) in general conversation, since the 'Slip of the Tongue' may be occasionally overlooked, not too often mind, one should be reminded if it is habitual.

To actually WRITE such expletives in any form of missive or other communication, is a sign of ignorance and ill-breeding.

I really do urge you to refrain from it's general use, you present yourself in a bad light (in my opinion) by adopting this abusive style, your contentions are negated by such and the end result is of no consequence since all credibility is lost.

Please accept that my comments on this matter are in no way intended to be malicious, I would dearly love to be able to communicate with you on a higher level, you may be surprised at some of the things I could tell you regarding my own background, there are many who declare themselves LESS yet do MORE for Cyprus than do you.
