If he is the moderator then I'm VERY impressed that he can be so impartial!

He has to prepare tea for Babbadobolos.

Piratis has already said he's rich and comfortable. Why would ANYONE (specially someone in his position), want (or agree) to, moderate the CLASIFFIED section of the forum??? :? :?

I mean COME ON!

To keep other BBSs from being advertised? Sysops hate each other...

There is no doubt the Akritas Plan was written by Papadopoulos. Granted, it does not have a name at the bottom, but why is Piratis ashamed to admit this? Is he finally beginning to come to terms with the notion that only a barbarian mind would have conceived such a plan?

The Akritas Plan was not just a document, by the way. It came with an Organisation, that was to use all means to implement it, should anyone have the cheek to ignore it. Yiorgatzis, was the leader of the Organisation and guess who was the vice leader. No prizes to be won for guessing right.

How do you know who wrote it? You were there?

Furthermore the "akritas plan" was nothing compared with the partition plan that the Turks had since the 50s, announced officially by Kucuk, and implemented to the letter in 1974. The Turkish partition plan involved the killing and ethnic cleansing of 100s of thousands of people. On the other hand the "akritas plan" talked about getting the self-determination that we should have been given in the first place, and in fact they wanted to achieve this without anybody getting hurt or any conflicts.

Keep talking about some anonymous document and exaggerating it is a cheap attempt to cover up the official Turkish criminal plans and actions. What is criminal and illegal are the actions, not what somebody writes anonymously on a paper.

You are unbelievable, you will have everyone believe that because we thwated your plans and implimented our own we are the bad guys, you guys were the ones who wanted to turn us into Greece, you fucked up big time and we stopped you. The rest is bullshit..you are now paying the price via division/loss of property but unfortunately we are also paying for your mistakes and fighting back to save our exsistence.

The GC people continue on from their ten millenniums of existence while the TC community is still in the process of deciding if they are a little more Cypriot than Turkish despite the year being 2007!

The probability that the TC community will survive the test of time is utterly dependant on how well they can adopt with the majority indigenous people of the island and not how well they can last with the illegalities of an alien invader.

I think the little period between 1963 to 1974 and even to this day, when you were in doubt about who you were and thought that you were Greek and then went about murdering and terrorising us TCs might have had the effect you are talking about......You still don't know who you are when we are telling you that we do...We are proud Turkish Cypriots and have a 30% stake in Cyprus that you are not willing to give us.......We took it.

The struggle mentioned in the "akritas plan" was based on acquiring self determination, not on ENOSIS.
But Turkey did not want Cyprus to have self-determination and so it set about sabotaging the struggle.

Don't exaggerate . . . you know full well (this is not a cue for you to paste the whole thing again . . . I have it in front of me  ) it was a struggle for self determination, modifying the Zurich agreement . . . and absolutely NO WAY does it say ANYTHING about harming any TCs . . . in fact it specifies that they should NOT be harmed.
