Compromises?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Give us the air force, the tanks, the missiles that Turkey has. Then we will not need to keep guns in our homes. Would you feel safer this way?

At least admit that both sides are doing something wrong. The north is full of Turkish soldiers, tanks, etc. the south is full of National Guards, Greek soldiers, and army reserves with guns and bullets ready at home. Instead you play the defenseless innocent peaceful Cypriot being invaded by evil Turks.

Defense is not wrong. The occupation army is the invador army that is in Cyprus illegaly. We do whatever we can to defend ourselves. Whats wrong with that?

Before the "invador" came to Cyprus, Grivas already established a 30.000 GC National Guard and Eldik army. when Turkish army came to Cyprus they already invaded Cyprus and still the GC administration illegally keep maintaining 17.000 National Guard, 4.000 Eldik and at least 35.000 armed resrevists.

And by the way Grivas' soul is still living in hearts and brains of 100 thousands of GCs. In 1974 when he died 120.000 GCs walked behind his funeral.
