Stefanos Stefanou

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby GorillaGal » Sun Nov 11, 2007 2:12 pm

has DT come forward and said what the official outcome of the autopsies were? did i mis something? surely this is bad news, and a i stated before, i send my condolances, and i truedly hope the truth comes out as to why he died. i have thought alot about this, and it is very possible that the ribs were broken in an attempt to recessitate him. I am trained in CPR, and although i never had to use it, ih ave heard alot of adrenilan kicks in when you are attempting to save someone's life. it is common to break some ribs in the process. so lets try not to foster hatred and blame on the TCs just yet folks.......
let's see what DT syas is the official ruling of Cause of Death.

Jerry. this would have never happened in the south.
My deepest condolences DT. It's terrible to know that he suffered so much pain. This should be a lesson for GCs not to go to the north.

I disagree Kafenes, mention has already been made of the incident where the police beat up some students. I suppose the difference between the north and the ROC is that there would be consequences for the criminals who would do such a thing'- probably due to the "civilising" influence of the EU.

It is not the EU. Greek Cypriots and the NeoCypriot traitor ex-Greeks are not muslim.

That is the biggest difference between the two groups, not the EU.

Many Thanks everyone.

I found this board via Google and learned only yesterday of the death of my dear friend Stephis. I suppose it's too much to expect that the thugs responsible have been brought to any semblance of justice.

I knew this extraordinary, unforgettable man first as a client. We shared an appreciation of old icons. I purchased several from him and in the process we became good friends. He sent for me and was my generous host during the darkest days of my life.

Though I last saw him in Israel in late 2006, we kept in touch by email. His health worried me and when a second email this week was unanswered, I found the dreadful reason here.

I'd say "God rest his soul", except I cannot picture this lion of a man in repose.

My deepest condolences to his lovely mother, whom I met twice, to DT and the rest of the family. Please, if there is any memorial site or fund, advise me here or by email ([email protected]).

This goes to show why the death penalty for the most heinous crimes should NEVER have been abolished. Those who murdered Mr. Stefanou deserve nothing less than the Saddam Hussein treatment!

Something I especially admired about Stephis was his unabashed patriotism - too rare in this age of political correctness. I visited Cyprus as a fairly typical ignorant tourist and he fired my interest and appreciation for this country...being what I considered living history himself.

I'm deeply shaken.
