I have learnt from 43 years of living and working in Cyprus not all is verbally expressed face to face, and I think this forum let's it all out...even though the views are maybe from a small minority.

It sems drastic mesures are needed. At the individual level, there is not much to be done, apart from what we are already doing.

Otherwise we can build 'Cypriot style 'concentration' camps and segregate the chaff from the wheat. Unionists in one and separatists in the other. Their only diet to be showing endlessly 'Gone with the Wind', starring Clark Gable'until they come to their senses.

Ofcourse, there is also the reality of the situation on the ground. All the concrete poured over all refugee land (North and South).

I am recuperating so not come up with anthing worthwhile. Dont despair. They have began something. Lets hope they finish it.

One day when I wake up. i'd like to see a PEACE throughout all of the island. Totally disarmed, because of the 'hotheads'.

Sadly I am once again reminded of some nastier sides of forums.

Speaking from personal experience, too often have I witnessed people making a first posting just to say something nasty ... to harass or threaten.

IMHO I beg of you, should we not preserve the spirit of the forum from erosion by litigious-minded individuals out for easy / fast bucks?

Isn't it a public place for the discussion of ideas and opinions, the exercise of free speech?...

How safe do you feel on the forum?

Are you aware that there are a growing number of people out to entrap the unwary so that they can file lawsuits for monetary gains?

How can we preserve the Spirit of the Forum from such sharks?

All in my humble opinion and entirely without prejudice ....

I had better put an end to that rumour before he "sues" me for copyright infringements to his character name ....

But I must say in my / our humble opinion(s) ... I think Eliko has a lot to teach us about the necessity to remind those "litigious" types (mentioning no names and having no one in my humble mind) that by participating in the forum we have to adopt its spirit ....

I would just like to modify my Last Will and Testament to take account of the fact that I wish to leave all my wordly remaining Lemons to Denizaksulu care of the Cyprus-Forum.
