Good Move

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I wouln't rest any hope on Christofias. I know for a fact that Talat considers him a big liar. When asked by Talat in Switzerland, during the talks, if he was going to vote no, he replied "are you crazy (pellos) Mehmet"? Christofias has establish a strict stalinist regime in AKEL and no one dares speak his mind in the Central Committee. Even the supporters of reconciliation and solution inside AKEL have been silenced and as one prominent PEO activist told me the other day "nothing is moving" meanng Christofias is the supreme lord and his wisdom is never challenged.

It's not true that Eleni Mavrou walked out of the Ledra Palace meeting in response to Talat's arguments. Perdikis walked out and I prey he walks out of our lives too. We have enough ultra nationalist, thick-headed people around us. Kleanthous, one of our thickest politicians, had a go at Mehmet Ali, in a manner that obviously targetted the populist sentiment, asking for the withdrwal of all troops, the return of all refugees etc. You realise that if these were granted there would be no Cyprob and the thick, full time politicians will be out looking for a job. They know too well that no one will have them!
