His picture is everywhere because he built this nation you fool, what is your problem anyways? If it wasnt for him we would all be speaking Greek now, so im god damn thankful that he was around  It was him who got rid off the Western ass sucking Sultans, do not blame Ataturk for what Turkey is today, this was far from his intention!

I don't think Islam and Kemalism are too different ideologically . . . the latter is in disguise, that's all.

shahmaran: You like most Turks are idiots and do not even know your own history. Kemal did not build the nation, the Turkish nationalism was already architected by Akcura, Gokalp, et al. The Young Turks had a contigency plan if the Axis side lost the war. The Nationalist movement was started before Kemal even in the arrived in the East, since the Young Turk contigency plan took effect when the Axis lost WWI. He is just the eternal figurehead of the Turkish state ideology. In the Mass Pschology of Fascism, the author Wilhelm Reich states the Germans viewed Hitler as a father figure.

Kemal is the father of the Turks, the eternal father figure and symbol of the Turkish state and nation. Maybe instead of joining the European Union Turkey can create a Union with other fascist and muslim states and worship eternal fathers, ban published criticisms, pretend to be modern and Westernized.

Your view of Turkish history is severely distorted by your extreme racist views towards us, to be honest we are talking about 2 different Turkeys and Kemals and id like to think that you are much more likely to get it wrong from there, then i would from here...

Phoenix maybe so, but i believe and so does every other Kemalist that the future is much more bright and open through only one of them and that is not Islam, how can you people even compare a man who wished nothing more then Turkey to be a free modern democracy who puts logical reasoning before blind belief, unless of course you yourself are supporters of the latter as well...

Attaturk was the father of the Ottomans before becoming the father of the Turks... :)

shahmaran: I think you and most Turks are stupider than you think or realize. There are organizations like the Frankfurt Book Fair that give anaylsis and reports of most countries and their book industries. That is where the info on banned Turkish books comes from.

There are other organizations like RSF that examine the persecution of journalists.

The fascist and Islamist incompetents of the Turkish nation can pretend they have no official fascist ideology, which is exactly what I expect of them. Recognized facts from reputable sources say otherwise, despite your claims of others being racist.

No, you must be very stubborn to deny the truth. The links I supplied in the beginning of this thread have never been denied nor challenged by you. Because the truth is you and most Turks are certainly nobody to give lectures on truth, or specifically what is fascist or not.
