Is the title incorrect? its a fact, this you cannot deny GCs are being disinfected at border crossings. Why are you so offended didnt hear anyone complian when it was the other way around and GCs were disinfecting us.

Yes,the title of your post is totally incorrect and insulting..
When were the GC's disinfecting us? If my memory serves me right the "disinfecting" process was applied to everyone traveling from north to south (regardless of their ethnic background) Just as it is being done today to EVERYONE traveling from south to north...
Why do you feel like you need to find or invent a reason to attack the other side every time you make post?

They should disinfect the chips in casinos too.

Do they disinfect only GCs or everyone who crosses the checkpoints?

VP,
to tell u truth my friend your topic name ''Greek Cypriots are being disinfected'' upset me .

it should be better if it was like this also informative.
The Ministry of Agriculture has taken some measures at all check-points between South Cyprus and the TRNC following the detection of the suspected case of foot-and-mouth disease in South Cyprus.
Greek Cypriot officials from the Veterinary Department said the sample analysis report has been sent to the UK-based laboratory by the Greek Cypriot Veterinary officials to see whether the virus is the foot-and-mouth disease or not.
Still they are searching the disease .
WE weren't disinfecting Greek Cypriots .
Disinfection applied on pedestrians and vehicles passing from the South icluding Turkish Cypriots as well.
No foot-and-mouth virus has been detected in the TRNC so far. Doesn't mean we can't have it .Transfering of food and dairy products from South Cyprus must be under strict controls.

the whole island has it ..but the test results are not available yet ...U.N dr told me ,.that two guys with farms in the north are also suspected infected

everyone and it is causing a nightmare at the checkpoints across the borders ...every one crossing regardless of nationality etc

p.s hopefully they might catch some illegals too and some drugs too

Phoenix I just knew you would like that!

There ought to be a nation wide survey. Take everyone's cholesterol levesl before and after going on such an enforced fast. And their weight too!

It will help bring some variety to the restaurant menues. Now most tourists think that Cypriots eat nothing but kebab and kleftiko.
